SINTERING TEMPERATURES 1530°C - 1580°C
Sintering cycles are based on the experience of CO.N.CE.P.T. and on technical data stated by manufacturers of raw materials
Sintering temperature may vary from 1530°C to 1580°C, provided that different hold time is followed (as showed in detailed tables). Exceeding the recommended sintering temperature could lead to deterioration of chemical and mechanical characteristics of the product.
It's possible to achieve a excellent translucency decreasing the overall time of sintering cycle:
- 1530 °C = hold time 3,5 hours
- 1580 °C = hold time 1 hour
Sintering is a very delicate phase which influences final characteristics of the structure. In order to avoid distortions or cracks and to achieve the best aesthetic result consult the section SINTERING.
In case of use of sintering kilns that are not programmed to insert all the detailed steps, it's possible to ask for simplified tables.
