Zyttria® Z COLOR ANTERIOR, high precoloured translucent Zirconia, increases the range of Zyttria® Anterior products designed for realising dental restorations in which a extremely refined aesthetic is required, that is the anterior area.

With a flexural strenght  of 600 MPa, Zyttria® Z Color Anterior unites aesthetic qualities (see Zyttria® Z 403 ANTERIORto resistance and stability that make it suitable for realising dental restorations even in posterior or lateral areas (bridges with max 3 elements).

Features:

  • homogeneous colour over the whole thickness : allows a uniform quality standard, indipendent from manual skill and technique used by the dental technician

  • save time and work: colouring and subsequent drying are not essential

  • opportunity to characterize the base shade with stain shades

When you judge quality and beauty of an object, do not forget function (Plato)

Dental restoration has the aim of reactivating function and aesthetic of compromised dental parts.

Zyttria® Z Color Anterior, thanks to its technical characteristics (high mechanical resistance and resistance to aging), guarantees functional performances higher to those of Lithium Disilicate.

Colours available

A1 - A2 - A3 - A3.5 - B2 - C2 - D2 suitable for covering more than 80% of the color range.

Applications

  • individual crowns

  • inlays, onlays, veneers

  • bridges with max. 3 elements

All restorations can be realised in fully anatomic version or layered with ceramic.

Processing

Dry or water milling, with burs suitable for Zirconia.

Sintering temperature

1450°C (see Sintering Cycle).

Ceramic coating of bridges or crowns manufactured with ZYTTRIA® may be performed using standard ceramic available on the market for frameworks made of Zirconium Oxide with a thermal expansion coefficient (CET) of about 8.8 / 9.5.

The ceramic adheres on Zirconia not only for mechanical contraction , but also for chemical bond as for metal, even if a softer way.

In order to achieve good results a delicate sandblast of the Zirconia frameworks is recommended: sandblast the framework, after finishing, with Aluminium Oxide at 110 micron and 1 bar of pressure and clean with steam at 5 cm. of distance.

The surface of the framework must be well cleaned in order to be ready to be wet during stratification of ceramic.

The colouring doens't affect in any case retencion and resistance so that is useful to colour frameworks to hide the cervical edge that, with minimum ceramic layers, may have a white colour.

The liner works as a connector and  makes the surface of Zirconia ready to be wet . A transparent liner is recommended in order to avoid that, colouring uncoloured framework, the passage of light is stopped achieving a result which is not aesthetic.

Notice

  • Avoid finishing with separating discs the connections among teeth in order not to create cracks

  •  Don't use plates and brushes already used for other ceramics

 SINTERING TEMPERATURE 1450°C

Sintering cycles are based on the experience of CO.N.CE.P.T. and on technical data stated by manufacturers of raw material

Sintering is a very delicate phase which influences final characteristics of the structure.

In order to avoid distortions or cracks and to achieve the best aesthetic result consult the SINTERING section.

 ZYTTRA® Z COLOR EXTRA  PLUS

 ZYTTRIA® Z MULTICOLOR EXTRA PLUS

 SINTERING TEMPERATURE 1450°C -  1500°C  - 1550°C

Sintering cycles are based on the experience of CO.N.CE.P.T. and on technical data stated by manufacturers of raw materials

Sintering temperature is 1450°C. In order to enhance translucency is possible to increase temperature to 1500°C or 1550°C, provided that different hold time is followed (as showed in detailed table). Exceeding the recommended sintering temperature could lead to deterioration of chemical and mechanical characteristics of the product.

It's possible to achieve a excellent tranlucency decreasing the overall time of the sintering cycle:

  • 1450 °C = hold time 3,5 hours
  • 1500 °C = hold time 90 minutes or 2 hours (see table)
  • 1550 °C = hold time 30 or 90 minutes (see table)

Sintering is a very delicate phase which influences final characteristics of the structure. In order to avoid distortions or cracks and to achieve the best aesthetic result consult the section SINTERING.

In case of use of sintering kilns that are not programmed to insert all the detailed steps,it is possible to make sintering cycles with less steps but with slower heating rate and/or cooling rate. See example below.

1.            950°C - 1330°C     =4°C/min=240°C/h

2.            1330°C                  =hold time 15 minutes

3.            1330°C - 1450°C    =7°C/min=420°C/h.

4.            1450°C                  =hold time 3,5 hours

The cycle could be simplified like this:

1.            950°C - 1450°C     =4°C/h

2.            1450°C                  =hold time 3,5 hours
